Responsive care is a new way of delivering person-centered care to meet the changing needs of the individual.
Our ‘Pay as you go’ care packages make getting support as and when needed, easier, cheaper and far less intrusive,
helping to keep an individual as independent as possible.
How it works
The whole idea of responsive care is that it does what it says on the tin. We provide care when needed without the constraints of scheduled calls. This way care is delivered when needed most and in an affordable way.
It’s as simple as making a phone call or pushing a lifeline we can have a carer attend to help support with personal or domestic care.
A small monthly administration fee is charged with each additional hour of care delivered, invoiced at the end of the month which means that you are able to manage your money and your independence to your own needs ALL of the time.
Who can use Responsive care
Anyone who needs support is welcome to use responsive rare although it’s more suited to the individual who has capacity to make decisions regarding their care package.
Everyone has good days and bad days and a we acknowledge that with our new Responsive Care package.
With its flexible approach and our extensively trained Community Response Team, you can live your life to the fullest knowing that we’re always here when you need that little bit of extra support.

How do I request responsive care?
Using Responsive Care you have a number of options of how to request care with Flexibility being the key!
Care calls can be scheduled as in domiciliary care which are booked ahead or requested at short notice if your circumstances suddenly change. They can also be requested each and every day taking each day as it comes.
Simply ring our Freephone number and speak to your own personal care manager or push your lifeline and request a care call (if in emergency) from us as we are happy to be a named contact for all Responsive care clients.
How is my level of care addressed?
Care provided through Responsive Care is treated just the same as if you were to be provided with a live in carer or domiciliary care.
A full needs assessment will be conducted to assess the level of support you require and full care plan and communication log provided. Our Community Response Team will support you with personal care, domestic support, sitting services, welfare checks just as a normal care package would offer.
